In the electrical, data and comms industry technology is continually evolving and so it’s important to keep up with what’s going on. Therefore we were pleased to attend this years CEF 2019 event at the NEC in Birmingham to talk to some of the industries leading manufacturers and try out some of the latest products.

Leading brands…
It was good to catch up with some of the leading names in the electrical trade including: Schneider, Tamlite, Crabtree, Hagar, Eaton, Aurora, Addvent, Aico, NICEIC and Nanoleaf. They all had their latest products on show and we had the chance to pepper them with lots of questions.
Jaguar were also there demonstrating there new all electric SUV – sadly we didn’t get a test drive!
Keeping up with the industry news…
For the electrical nerdy geeks, and to prove that we were working and learning (and not just on a jolly), we caught up on a few specific talks including:

- AFDD (Arch Fault Detection Device)
- New fire regulations
- Electric car charging points
- Q and A with the NICEIC team
