ECS certified electricians
We are delighted to confirm that the LIKE Electrical team of engineers are Electrotechnical Certification Scheme (ECS) card holders.
ECS is the sole ID and competence card scheme for electrotechnical operatives in the UK and is recognised and endorsed by the industry.
As it certifies individuals, rather than a company, clients can be rest assured that those actually working on their electrical project have the skills and experience to carry out the work.
Specifically, holding an ECS card proves:
- qualification status
- electrotechnical occupations
- experience and relevant employer endorsements
- confirms their identity
- health, safety and environmental awareness
- adherence to industry CPD requirements and Codes of Professional Practice
- any additional disciplines in which they are skilled to work.
ECS for Construction Projects
ECS is partnered with the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS). This means that on construction sites or projects, where CSCS cards is a requirement, electrotechnical workers will need to have the ECS card.
Electrotechnical
The term ‘electrotechnical’ is used to cover a wide range of occupations and services including electrical installation and maintenance, electrical cabling and panels, distribution networks and product service engineers.
